Central Group is re-thinking its mid-term strategy for Westpoint Distribution Park in Prague 6 Ruzyně, a logistics center the developer bought in the second half of last year from Immofinanz. While it hasn’t abandoned long terms plan to re-develop the area into a residential neighborhood with flats, shops and office, Central Group has been extending lease terms with tenants in the zone for up to 10 years and making investment plans for the existing facility. The developer has acquired further land and it now says it will start redevelopment work on the area outside Westpoint first.
Central Group appointed Reflecta Facility to carry out facility management and leasing for the park. Westpoint offers storage units ranging from 21 sqm to 15,470 sqm and offices from just 24 sqm to 780 sqm. The location offers access to the D5 motorway, the R6 and R7 speedways, Prague’s ring road and the the Václav Havel international airport. Storage space is on offer from just €1.90/sqm/month, while office rents start at €2.90/sqm/month.
