Central Group has started selling units at its CZK 2bn residential complex currently under construction in Prague 3-Žižkov. Residence Garden Towers is scheduled for completion in 2016. It is the largest residential project built in one go and will offer nearly 700 flats in five 18-story towers growing out of a lower five-story pedestal. The scheme includes rooftop gardens as well as a supermarket, restaurant and café.
Prices will range from CZK 41,800/sqm for flats on lower floors to nearly twice as much for larger, high-end apartments on the top floors that will offer views of Prague Castle.
The project is going up on a plot Central Group bought from Telefonica six years ago. The company’s CEO, Dušan Kunovský, said the developer had construction permit in place for some time already, but decided to wait for market conditions to improve before breaking ground.
