Central Group bought a site next to the future metro D station in Prague’s Krč district from Pražská správa nemovitostí. The site near the Thomayerova hospital in Krč will probably open way for the exclusively residential developer to venture into hotel construction and rental apartments. The head of Central Group, Dušan Kunovský, says that the existing hostel and offices (37,000 sqm) on the site will eventually be torn down to make way for redevelopment, but during the five-year planning period, the premises will continue to produce rental income.
