Central Group has acquired its 10th construction plot since the beginning of this year. The developer has purchased seven plots around central Prague and an additional three on the outskirts, including its latest acquisition in Uhříněves. The plots can accommodate the construction of 1,900 flats and have cost the company CZK 4.5bn. The head of Central Group, Dušan Kunovský, says more acquisitions are currently underway and will be financed by the developer’s own equity. Central Group is benefiting from the exodus of international companies from the Czech market as they are setting pragmatic prices for their land holdings. Central Group has also acquired land in Prague’s Michle, Holešovice, Smíchov, Břevnov and Vysočany neighborhoods.
