The residential project Centroom, located next to the Aupark shopping center in the Slovak town of Piešťany, could collapse without warning, according to a static report, after inspectors found cracks in the walls. The load is several times higher than the standards allow for this type of structure, according to the report. The developer of the project, Iuris, had used static expert Ján Tomčáni, who oversaw the statics of several cracked projects on the Slovak market, including Apollo 1 by HB Reavis, which needs to be vacated by Oct. 17, and 3nity, which collapsed in 2012, writes Trend Reality.
