Continuing the global development of e-commerce services, CEVA Logistics announced that it has won a five-year logistics contract for ABOUT YOU, one of the fastest growing European fashion platforms. CEVA will provide fulfillment services in a 40,000 sqm warehouse located in Magnice near Wrocław. He will apply modern solutions in the field of automation and technology, which will provide ABOUT YOU with even greater efficiency and shorten the time of completing online orders to a minimum.
Under the terms of the long-term contract, the CEVA contract logistics team in Poland will be responsible for managing the new, automated and technologically advanced distribution center. Its launch is to provide ABOUT YOU with a responsive logistics service necessary for international expansion.
Additionally, the opening of a new distribution center will bring business and economic benefits to local communities. Currently, the recruitment and training process of approximately 1,000 employees is underway to support operations in the 24-hour warehouse. per day. Thanks to its strategic location, near Wrocław in south-west Poland, CEVA can easily handle orders placed by ABOUT YOU customers in several European countries.
It is worth noting that both companies – ABOUT YOU and CEVA – have committed to managing the distribution center in a sustainable manner. For this purpose, greenfield solutions will be implemented, such as solar panels providing clean energy.
