The CMA CGM Group, in accordance with the agreement announced on December 8, 2021, finalized the acquisition of most of Ingram Micro’s Commerce & Lifecycle Services (CLS) business, including Shipwire, in North America, Europe, India and some Latin American countries . The transaction strengthened the Group’s position on the market of services dedicated to contract logistics and e-commerce. CEVA Logistics, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, will become the fourth largest global provider of contract logistics services.
Together, CEVA Logistics and CLS will employ over 98,000 people. employees in over 1,000 locations in 160 countries around the world, providing clients with responsive logistics solutions. Thus, CEVA achieved the highest position in its history, which leads to the goal of joining the TOP 5 of the largest global logistics companies.

As a result of the global COVID-19 pandemic, the increase in consumer demand significantly accelerated the development of e-commerce, even by several years compared to previous forecasts.
