CEVA Logistics connects European consumers with premium and luxury fashion brands by signing a long-term contract with BestSecret, the leading European online sales platform in the fashion industry for premium and luxury goods at lower prices. CEVA will manage logistics and operations in a new e-commerce fulfillment center with an area of 80,000 sqm in Sulechów.
The new BestSecret fulfillment center for e-commerce will be located in Sulechów, in the voivodeship Lubuskie, right on the border with Germany. The facility is expected to start operating in the spring of 2023. Together with BestSecret, the CEVA team will be responsible for servicing designer clothing for approx. 3 thousand. different brands and their shipment to BestSecret customers all over Europe.
The design and commissioning of the fulfillment center is carried out in close cooperation between both companies. CEVA’s comprehensive management of its fulfillment center operations will include inbound goods receipt, quality control, goods storage, order picking and shipping to customers across Europe, and delivery to BestSecret stores, as well as other value-added services.
A greenfield fulfillment center with an area of over 80,000 sqm it will have a large number of loading docks and will be equipped with a wide range of packaging machines inside. Overall, the facility has been designed to provide full flexibility to expand or add new functionalities in response to market or operational requirements.
The capacity and efficiency of the fulfillment center will be supported by the latest automation solutions, including a sorting system. The storage area will include a five-storey pick tower.
To support the rapid development of BestSecret, CEVA and BestSecret have prepared a modular structure that will enable the fastest possible expansion of operations. As expected, the capacity of the fulfillment center in Sulechów is to increase at least 1.5 times compared to the already operating fulfillment center in Germany.
