The Chinese government is planning to invest about €20m to transform the Port of Burgas into a logistics center linking China to 16 countries in the CEE region, according to the Black Sea port’s manager, Dian Dimov.
Under the five-year agreement, signed in the Chinese city of Hangzhou, the funds will be invested into the construction of logistics and facility centers. Dimov said the project will help develop trade between China and CEE and also create a multilateral platform for trade in goods.
