Chris Smith was named partner of DLA Piper’s real estate practice. He will also serve as co-chair of the law firm’s New York real estate practice. Smith’s experience spans all aspects of real estate, including joint ventures, funds, financing, direct investments, development and acquisitions and dispositions. Smith joins DLA Piper from Shearman & Sterling LLP.
