Christine Hager will become Director Property Management at Sierra in Germany on October 1, 2022 and will be appointed to the management team at the same time. She will be responsible for the areas of management, leasing, legal and marketing of the assets managed by Sierra in Germany. In the newly created position and in her capacity as Director, she will report directly to the relevant Sonae Sierra board of directors.
Christine Hager comes from the Redos Group in Hamburg. She joined the company in 2015 as Managing Director, Head of Shopping Center Asset Management and held other senior management positions there. Previously, she held a senior position at Jones Lang LaSalle, responsible for shopping center management in Germany and Austria and for retail asset management.

Hager, who studied architecture, is well connected in the real estate industry. Among other things, she has chaired the German Council of Shopping Places (GCSP) since 2018 and has been a board member of the European Council of Shopping Places since 2021. Also in 2021 she became a board member of the Institute for Corporate Governance of the German Real Estate Industry (ICG). Immobilien Manager magazine named her Manager of the Year 2021.
Jens Horeis, who previously held the position of General Manager for Sierra’s property management in Germany, is leaving the company.
