Turkish businessmen Mustafa and Sinan Cihan (father and son), enter the premium residential market in Romania with two boutique projects in the north of Bucharest, after focusing on the office sector in the Capital for almost 30 years.
For several years, the Cihan family has owned a plot of approximately 1,300 sqm in the Aerogării area in the north of Bucharest, on which, in 2014, they tried to develop a shopping center. The investor’s plans have changed in the meantime, and now the construction of a premium apartment building on this site is being considered.
“There will be about 40 apartments. We hope to start construction work this summer. It is our first residential project in Bucharest. So far I have only made offices. Near this project, we also have a piece of land on which we also started working for a block with about 35 apartments. I noticed that many apartments were built in this area and sold quickly. That’s why we decided to do it too. My son will continue with the family’s investments,” declared Mustafa Cihan.
