Citi Handlowy improved its performance in the third quarter, posting PLN 251m in profits, an increase of 38 percent compared with the same period last year. The results surpassed market expectations, as analysts had been predicting PLN 225m in profits at best, according to the daily Puls Biznesu.
“The bank is very well prepared for the coming year. When it comes to costs, the bank has achieved a healthy result, and I expect the bank will be able to repeat its success next year,” said Tomasz Bursa of Ipopema Securities.
