The Chinese-Hungarian company BBCA Szolnok Biochemical Ltd. has received a key financial injection from the Hungarian state for its new citric acid factory, which it will be building on a 20 ha plot in Szolnok. The HUF 20bn factory will manufacture 60,000 tons of citric acid per year. It will add more than 850 jobs to the local market. The Chinese company BBCA Group Corporation is a 40 percent shareholder in the joint venture, with the Hungarian based company Szolnok Industrial Park Ltd retaining the remainder of the shares.
