Dragos Petrescu, one of the leading entrepreneurs on the region’s restaurant market, announced the City Grill restaurants in the Carrefour Orhideea shopping center and the America House office building in Bucharest will close this quarter, because they aren’t bringing in enough money.
Petrescu, owner of the City Grill Group, said the group will open two new restaurants in the capital this year. One will be located in the city’s old town and the other would be in the Planorama residential building in the Colentina neighborhood.
City Grill Group’s portfolio includes City Grill, City Cafe, Trattoria Buongiorno, Hanu’ Berarilor and Caru cu Bere.
