City West Investors introduced a third version of the residential project it wants to develop next to the Lužiny shopping center in Prague 13. The new plan includes two 16-story apartment buildings offering 215 flats. The original design featured 303 units and 1,500 sqm of office in 26-story highrises. The local municipality, however, is strongly opposed to the new version of the project. (It was also critical of the first two versions.) The project is currently in EIA and won support from the Prague 13 construction department, which says the project is in line with the master plan.
The scheme will be closely connected to the existing shopping center, which is co-owned by Lenka Romanová, wife of the former head of ČEZ, Martin Roman, and Eudi Invest. Karel Kopp, a former Komerční banka board member, controls a 10-percent stake in Eudi.
