Following CitySpace’s success at the Face2Face office building in Katowice and full occupancy in 2023, one of Poland’s largest operators of flexible offices is continuing its rapid growth. Responding to strong interest from the Silesian market, the company is expanding its base of flexible office space for lease in Katowice by a further 1,800 sq m, which will include 260 new workstations. CitySpace currently has the largest share of the Katowice flexible office space market, and following the expansion, the company will become the leader in Silesia.
CitySpace Face2Face will offer a total of more than 3,600 sq m of space with 545 ergonomically designed workstations. In the new space, customers will have a choice of space in 42 private offices or at shared desks in the coworking area. A total of 75 private offices will be available on both floors. Managed by the operator, the space at 2 Żelazna Street also now includes 3 fully equipped meeting rooms and comfortable quiet work spaces. There are also spacious kitchens for the CitySpace Face2Face community and a relaxation area for taking a break from work.
“CitySpace has been offering coworking and flexible office spaces in Katowice and Silesia since 2017. In 2021, during the pandemic, we opened CitySpace at Face2Face Business Campus, which quickly proved to be a success. In 2023, the centre was fully occupied for most of the year and we can see that high demand continues. For this reason, we took the decision to double our space in the building,” says Lisa Zettlin, Managing Director of CitySpace.
Two large social areas are planned for the new space, which will feature glazed facades overlooking the city. One will feature a relaxation zone, event space and multifunctional meeting rooms connected to a hot-desk area. This is an ideal space for collaboration, creative meetings or training. Care has also been taken to provide an adequate number of acoustic booths for hybrid meetings (one- and two-person), a natural complement to today’s working environment. The second social area is designed for private office clients and includes a large, modern kitchen with all amenities. The design follows the colour scheme of the existing main floor – it is based on warm orange and burgundy colours, enhanced by wooden elements, soft fabrics and plants. Like the existing space, the new interiors will also feature graphics designed by Kolektyf studio. The new space will not only be functional, but also cosy. The Warsaw-based FruitOrchard by Miastkowska studio is responsible for the design. The second floor of Katowice’s CitySpace will be available for use in the third quarter of 2024.
“In our serviced offices, clients have a fully furnished space and a package of services at their disposal, including access to a dedicated IT infrastructure and 24-hour security services, utilities and high-speed internet, a cleaning service, unlimited coffee and tea, correspondence service and, above all, reception service. CitySpace customers can use all of our 12 office centres in Poland without unnecessary paperwork thanks to a mobile app.,” adds Mateusz Mróz, Area Manager Kraków & Katowice at CitySpace.
CitySpace is one of the leading operators of flexible offices in Poland, belonging to the Echo Investment Group. CitySpace offices currently form a network of 12 locations in 6 Polish cities: Warsaw, Wrocław, Kraków, Katowice, Łódź and Gdańsk. Throughout the country, CitySpace offers around 4,000 workstations on a total area of over 29,000 sqm.
Face2Face Business Campus is a complex of office buildings located in the business centre of Katowice, offering nearly 45,000 sqm of space. The BREEAM certificate confirms the energy efficiency and sustainable operation of the complex. A distinctive feature of the entire complex is the green, multifunctional patio between the buildings. In cooperation with the Małeccy design studio from Katowice, zones were arranged here to energise creative work or allow you to concentrate. A basketball court, a chillout zone with deckchairs and benches, flower meadows – such solutions make Face2Face a friendly place to work.
