LaSalle Investment Management and the Jefferson Apartment Group paid $163.5m for CityView at Longwood Apartments in Boston. The seller was Equity Residential. Located in the city’s Fenway-Kenmore neighborhood, the 20-story, 289-unit apartment tower includes a swimming pool, fitness center and two-level parking garage. The deal was completed by a $104.1m acquisition loan sourced by HFF through ING Group. The property last changed hands in February 2011, when a private investor sold the asset to Equity Residential for $93.8 m.
