Crnogorska komercijalna banka (CKB), a member of Hungary’s OTP Group, took over a controlling stake of Societe Generale Bank of Montenegro, which now operates on the local market as Podgorička banka. CKB currently operates 28 branches and 100 ATMs and has 459 employees in Montenegro, while Podgorička banka’s network includes 20 branches, 24 ATMs and 291 employees. OTP Group is a universal banking and financial institution that offers financial services to almost 18.5 million clients in 10 countries through a network of more than 1,600 affiliates.
