CMC wins financing for Brickell Flatiron condo tower

A $236 million construction loan for the Brickell Flatiron condominium tower has been granted to developer CMC Group. The funding was provided by Bank of the Ozarks and RFR Realty in two loans, a $138.5 million mortgage and a $97.5 million mezzanine loan. The scheme will consist of a 64 story, 549 unit tower at 1001 South Miami Avenue that is slated for completion in 2019. According to the developer 60 percent of the units are under contract with more than $300 million in sales. Topping out at 736 feet, the tower will feature a rooftop spa, pool and gym, a billiard and cigar room, a wine cellar, and a 24-hour concierge and parking valet.
