In an effort to cut costs, Coca-Cola HBC is planning to close its manufacturing plant in Lúka near Piešťany by the end of the first quarter of 2016. The company will lay off 107 employees but does not plan to leave the Slovak market, writes Trend.sk. Coca-Cola HBC operates six production plants with 33 production lines in Central Europe. The company has no immediate plans to sell the Lúka distribution center.
