The medical equipment distributor Cofares has stopped producing its commercial goods in order to concentrate on distributing face masks to Spanish citizens. The first four million of the 20 million expected to be distributed this week have already gone out. It’s the first phase of a plan to distribute a total of 180 million masks. Cofares’ has been strengthening its medical goods distribution network, which reaches 19,000 of Spain’s 22,000 pharmacies. This has helped keep the distribution of medicine running smoothly in Spain despite the COVID-19 crisis.
