Colliers has appointed Andrzej Gutowski as the director of the ESG consulting department in Poland. Andrzej’s role will be the local implementation of the company’s global strategy in the field of environmental, social and corporate governance issues, as well as cooperation with business lines and experts at higher levels of the organization in supporting these activities.
Before taking up his new position, Andrzej Gutowski was the director of the Green Buildings Certification Department at Colliers in Poland. He has over 10 years of experience in advising and coordinating commercial real estate certification processes in Central and Eastern Europe, covering over 50 projects. He is a specialist in the field of LEED, BREEAM, WELL and Fitwel systems, as well as those focused on the topic of safety, such as WELL HSR (Health-Safety Rating) and Fitwel VR (Viral Response). Andrzej was also responsible for supporting the sustainable development strategy and coordinating the implementation of green measures for Colliers customers.
In the new position, Andrzej will be, among others coordinated the local implementation of activities under the Science Based Targets (SBTi) initiative aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Colliers’s declared goal is to achieve zero emissions by 2030. In addition to internal activities and building a team of ESG experts, its responsibilities will also include supporting clients in the process of developing and implementing responsible practices.
