Colliers International’s office agency leased a record amount of space in 2017. The tenant and landlord representation teams closed 200 deals in Poland, totaling 286,000 sqm of office space in Warsaw and regional cities, an all-time high for the company’s Polish branch. Tenant demand was driven by new agreements (27 percent), renegotiations (24 percent) and relocations (21 percent). Renegotiations with expansion accounted for 17 percent. The majority of landlord representation transactions were new agreements (48 percent), renegotiations (34 percent) and expansions (18 percent). Colliers leased the largest amount of office space in Warsaw (nearly 96,000 sqm), followed by Poznań (35,000 sqm), Tricity (25,000 sqm) and Kraków (20,000 sqm).
