The Colonnade Restaurant, a waterfront restaurant in Tampa, has been purchased by a joint venture between Batson-Cook Development Company and Ascentia Development Group for $6.2 million. The sale was for the restaurant site, 3401 Bayshore Blvd, as well as an additional half-acre parcel at 2907 W. Julia St. The buyers plan to raze the building and build luxury waterfront condominiums. The restaurant, which has been on Bayshore Boulevard since 1935, is one of the last sites on Bayshore Boulevard specifically entitled for a high-rise tower.
