The number of completed residential projects on the Bulgarian increased by 3.2 percent y-o-y in the second quarter, according to the National Statistics Institute. A total of 521 new housing projects were delivered in the three-month period, with 81 completed in the Plovdiv region, 80 in Burgas and 79 in Varna.
The number of dwellings in newly built residential buildings increased by 15.6 percent on the year to 2,248 between April and June. Newly built dwellings with two rooms made up 39.1 percent of the total, followed by dwellings with three rooms at 27.9 percent. The number of dwellings with six and more rooms made up just 2.7 percent of the total.
