ComplexRE at CED-Logic Serbia 2017

18 October 2017

CED-Logic Serbia 2017, a set of round table discussions about the local logistics market, was held on 21st September 2017 at the Falkensteiner Hotel Belgrade. Participants discussed the growth of the country’s logistics sector as well as the significant challenges facing it. The topics of these frank conversations focused on setting priorities for transport infrastructure and the future of the industry as it benefits from internal economic growth as well as European demand.

Jiří Suremka, a partner at ComplexRE, was among the influential local and international and participants, talking about the Serbian logistics market. “I’m going all over eastern Europe looking for properties because there’s a lack of employees in Central Europe for my clients,” said Suremka. “I think it’s a good time to open people’s eyes bring the industrial companies here. In fact, many are being pushed to come here by the lack of people. The only problem Serbia still has is mostly psychological. The infrastructure is in place, but it’s about changing the reputation of the country.”
