Citing a lack of investor confidence, the Sibiu-based construction company CON-A announced a turnover of just RON 100m (about €22m) during the first nine months of the year. The number is down 15 percent compared with the same period last year.
Overall, the company is expecting to end 2012 with a 20 percent decrease in profits, said CON-A owner Mircea Bulboacă.
The company is currently overseeing two projects in the city of Cluj: the €36m Cluj Arena stadium and the construction of a €77m automotive components factory for the German Bosch Group.
