Confidence in Czech economy remains steady

Confidence in the Czech economy remains high, according to the most recent survey, conducted by the Czech Statistics Office. It found that the confidence level of business owners remained unchanged in October at 95.2, according to its indicator index. Consumer confidence, meanwhile, rose 2.5 points to 108.9 since September. The results in both cases were higher than they were in a year ago. The industrial sector, however, saw a monthly drop in confidence of 0.6 points to 96.5, despite a belief that the economic situation of the country hasn’t changed. Industrial orders are sufficient for roughly 8.1 months of work. The construction sector’s confidence levels rose 2 full points to 74.5 in October.
