Cofrasilvas was named general contractor of Metrocity Academiei, a residential project set to go up near Bucharest future Academia Militara metro station. Top Drill and Apolodor are in charge of the project’s foundation work. Construct Aprodex will invest about €10m in the scheme, while the remaining costs will be covered through a loan from Garanti Bank.
Designed by Arhi Group, the complex will offer 230 apartments. The first 12-story housing block will include 110 units and is set for completion this year. The second phase of the project is scheduled for completion in 2016.
