Consortium teams up for $74m multifamily portfolio acquisition

A consortium between Besyata Investment Group, The Scharf Group, Pensam Residential and BH Equities have purchased a multifamily portfolio for $74 million. The first property, Park at Hurstbourne, is a 689-unit 1972 vintage garden style multifamily apartment complex, resting on 44 acres in Louisville, KY. The second asset, Woodcrest Village, sits on 34 acres of land in Lithonia, GA, offering 344 units and has undergone a complete exterior transformation. Besyata’s long-term partner BH Management, a property manager of 65,000 apartments in 23 states, will oversee the day-to-day property management and leasing for both assets.
