The Ministry of Transport has approved the modernization of Mihail Kogalniceanu airport using European funds and aims to attract European funds for the modernization of Oradea airport as well.
The Constanta airport project will focus on the renovation of airport gates and on the access ramps to the tarmac.
The project, worth around €40 m, is to be completed in March 2014. Oradea Airport is for the construction of a 2,100 meter runway and the full restoration of existing runways at a cost of €32m.
