AS Merko Group, a major Estonian contractor, has broken ground on the first phase of construction of its Pikaliiva residential project in Tallinn. This phase of construction, near Harku lake in the city’s Haabersti district, includes the construction of two apartment buildings containing 66 units. When completed, the project will contain 10 four-storey residential apartment buildings. The B grade energy class buildings will offer apartments varying in size from 32 sqm to 84 sqm. Parking spaces as well as play areas and landscaped green spaces will surround the apartments whose prices will vary between €1820 and €2200 per sqm. The first phase of construction is set for completion by the summer of 2019
