Construction has begun on the Business Leaders Center located on unity square in Kaunas. The €20 million construction project is expected to be completed by the end of 2018, with the first tenants moving in at the beginning of 2019. The largest of the four buildings on the site will contain 16,000 sqm of space of which 14,000 will be available for rent. As well as office space the complex will also include a business hotel, conference and sports centres, 10 cafes and a medical cluster. The site will also include the first underground car park in Kaunas, with space for over 500 cars. When completed, it is expected that over 2000 people will work in the new business complex. Lionginas Šepetys, General Manager of Urban Inventors UAB stated that the key aspect of this unique building was its versatility “The new business centre will be able to accommodate both very large companies and one-man operations, and be used for various activities.”
