The volume of construction works in Hungary in September dropped by 15% compared to the previous year according to data provided by KSH (Central Statistical Office). Output of construction of buildings dropped by 9,1% and 20,6% in civil engineering. The volume of new contracts signed for construction of new buildings dropped by 26%, but at the same time rose by 2,9% for civil engineering works. The study also claims that prices in Q3 of 2020 increased by 6,3% in construction of buildings and by 7,1% in civil engineering.
