The second phase of Kotelna Park in the Radlice valley portion of Prague 5 has been completed. The project is located next to the area’s most visible landmark, a 120 meter chimney that was once part of a facility that provided heat for the entire area. The new building is six floors high and offers 12,000 sqm of class A office space. Kotelna Park Phase II is pre-certified as “very good” providing a high level of air exchanged through the use of modern air-conditioning units with double filtration. The area has been gaining in value rapidly thanks to the ongoing redevelopment of a former industrial facility across the street and Kotelna Park’s neighbor CSOB which recently expanded its headquarters. Kotelna Park Phase II was designed by Chapman Taylor, featuring a glazed facade formed by rounded curves and well-lit interior space. The building has openable windows and external blinds as well as outdoor terraces located on all floors and a green park behind the building. As is becoming standard for new office buildings, it offers bike parking, showers and lockers as well as charging stations for electric vehicles.
