Construction of new Danube Bridge reaches Slovakian border

Construction of the new Danube Bridge, which started in 2017 in the Hungarian city of Komarom, has now reached the Slovakian border. In an effort to ease truck traffic and decrease pollution, the bridge will connect Motorway 63 in Slovakia with Hungary’s Motorway 1. The bridge will include one 95-meter pylon, three vents above the Danube and two vents on the Slovakian side. There will also be a bicycle zones and sidewalks.
