West Palm Beach-based McCraney Property Co. and Northwestern Mutual have teamed up to build Park27, a two-building industrial park south of the Walt Disney World Resort. The new 600,000 square foot project will be located near Interstate 4 and U.S. Highway 27 on a 33 acre site. The first structure, a 189,000 square-foot building, will break ground by year’s end with a second 414,000 square foot multi-tenant spec space to follow.
“On the heels of the Orlando industrial market experiencing an explosive 2 million square feet of absorption to date this year, currently there is no other sector within commercial real estate more fluid and exciting than the industrial market today,” said Steve McCraney, president and CEO of McCraney Property. “Industrial is morphing its traditional makeup with retail and technology, and Central Florida is at the perfect crossroads to capitalize on e-commerce momentum.”
