More than 1,000 building permits were issued in Bosnia during the last three months of 2018, up 3.1 percent from the previous year, according to recently published data from the Statistics Agency. The permits were for the construction of 1,623 apartments, 1,541 of which will be new builds, while the remaining will be refurbishments. Most of the apartments will be two-bedroom units. A total of 140 four-room apartments will be built this year. The number of building permits for civil engineering also increased by 7.9 percent last year, according to the data.
