Construction is scheduled to break ground on a new resort in Cavtat along the Croatian coast. The main investor behind the Aman Resort is Greek entrepreneur Petros Stathis. The project will go up on a site that used to house former Macedonia hotel. Aman will be part of a chain of luxury hotels. The network has 34 locations in 21 countries. The first Aman resort was opened in Phuket in 1988.
