Construction work begins on 35,000 sqm in Panattoni’s first multi-tenant park in Kalisz

18 December 2020

Panattoni has begun construction work on its warehouse investment in Kalisz. The project is to be the first, class A industrial complex in the area, and eventually, it is to have 35,000 sqm of space. The building is to be divided into small business units with the smallest module being 1,380 sqm. The first tenants in the park are to be logistics operators and they will start their operations in the building in April 2021.

“For a long time, we’ve been investing in Wielkopolska since we can see a lot of potential in the region both at the country and the international level. After having completed numerous projects in Poznan and its surrounding area, Kalisz is the natural next step. It is the second-largest city of the region and is superbly situated between three key cities on the logistics map in Poland: Lodz, Wroclaw, and Poznan. Additionally, it has no class A warehouse buildings, which for the last 15 years Panattoni has been supplying to the market in Poland,” said Katarzyna Osinska, Development Director at Panattoni. “With very good access to labour and a wide range of investment land, Kalisz is becoming a superb alternative to the administrative capital of the region,” she added.
