The volume of construction works decreased in January, compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, both as a gross series by 3.6 percent and as a series adjusted according to the number of working days and seasonality by 3.7 percent, informed the National Institute of Statistics. Compared to December 2020, the volume of construction works decreased as a gross series by 64.7 percent.
By construction objects, there were decreases as follows: non-residential buildings by 71.9 percent, engineering constructions by 62.7 percent and residential buildings by 58.4 percent.
