Contera Management completed a new 4,500 sqm off-site dispatch warehouse for Ikea Czech Republic in a new phase of the Ostrava Business Park in Ostrava-Kuncicky. Cushman & Wakefield’s industrial team helped in the search for a facility and developer.
Ostrava Business Park currently offers 21,000 sqm. There is still space to develop an additional 40,000 sqm. Ikea chose the area because it is reasonably close to its department store in Ostrava. Dušan Kastl, Contera’s project development manager, says that the developer will start construction on an additional 15,000 sqm in the second half of the year.
