Continental Group has purchased a new building that includes a production hall and office space in the Freidorf Timișoara Industrial Park. The new space will help expand the internal supply chain and infrastructure, and can now better optimize and harmonize internal processes related to storage, local production and intralogistics.
In Timisoara, the company has two production units. One produces aluminum ducts for air conditioning systems, and the other produces transmission belts.
“In the last 10 years of activity, Continental has invested over EUR 50 million in the air conditioning and transmission belts factory in which it has created a large number of jobs. We constantly invest in technology in order to improve the quality of our processes and products. In addition, we promote the development of new technologies for environmental protection, as well as ergonomics “, said Irina Szekeres, General Manager of ContiTech in Timisoara.
