Cordia, the residential subsidiary of Futureal Group, is building 1,300 apartments in Budapest’s ninth district. The project, to go up in phases, will contribute to the urban regeneration of the district’s Mid-Ferencváros area. The apartment blocks are going up along a common axis on several different sites. The first phase is being developed next to the new Research Centre for Human Sciences of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences as well as multiple office buildings. Cordia is also poised to break ground on a second residential project in the same district. That scheme will go up in the Lenhossék Park neighborhood and feature 360 homes.
