The cornerstone was laid at the site of Enea’s new power block in Kozienice this week. The project is expected to cost PLN 6.4bn, making it one of the biggest investment on the European energy sector this year. Hitachi Power Europe GmbH and Polimex–Mostostal will oversee construction. The deadline for the project is set for the second half of 2017.
Once completed, the investment will add more than 300 jobs to the regional labor market. Enea used its own equity to start the project.
