Revitalis Real Estate has held a cornerstone laying ceremony for its project Prager Carrée at Dresden’s central railroad station. The mixed-use project will see the construction of 241 apartments and 5,900 sqm of retail space over six to seven floors on the corner of Wiener Platz and Prager Strasse 1. It’s been designed by the Hamburg-based studio MPP and was sold to Invesco in December for €70m. Revitalis purchased the 8,674 sqm plot in the summer of 2013 from the city of Dresden, which had sought an investor for the land since 1999.
