Coronavirus has hit demand for Serbian real estate

13 May 2020

Demand for renting and buying homes, especially ones with yards, was extremely high in Serbia in the period that proceeded the pandemic lockdown. The prices for renting and buying cottages in the country’s famous mountain ranges was prohibitively expensive and little has changed in that regards. The reality is that interest in buying houses outside the cities is not slowing down, especially weekend getaways in not just in Fruška Gora, Krčedin, Slankamen, Banovci, but also in Avala and Grocka. These properties are in demand as well because they tend to cost significantly less. While many are looking for space to rent, most are deciding to buy.
