Court places PSJ in bankruptcy with debts of CZK 2bn

4 April 2019

Creditors of the failed contractor PSJ have sent the company into bankruptcy. The company has been insolvent since last year. In all, creditors are claiming CZK 8.6bn against the company, but E15 writes that it’s expected that the court will recognize just CZK 2bn in debts. None of the creditors assembed in court yesterday were in favor of restructuring the company, which has done no work since the summer. The company’s assets currently amount to an estimated CZK 700m and it could take two years to complete their sale.
