The Colorado-based investment company Forum Real Estate has purchased the Viera at Westchase apartment complex for $52.75 million. The 390-unit property located at 12401 W. Hillsbourgh Avenue in Tampa was built in 1999. The sale breaks down to more than $135,000 per apartment, which is above replacement cost for an older suburban complex. The seller, Nashville-based Covenant Capital Group paid $39.25 million for the asset in early 2012.
